The liquid tight flexible conduit system has a galvanised steel core with a thermoplastic rubber cover and a stainless steel over-braid outer layer. This conduit has very high abrasion resistance, tensile strength and mechanical strength. It has an IP rating of up to IP68 (5 Bar) and can be used in applications with extremes of temperature – anything between -45˚C to 135˚C. It also provides EMC screening and the fittings lock the braid between the inner and outer compression nuts. IP68 liquid tight cable glands provide a fast and easy to assemble solution for flexible conduit, ranging in diameter from 5mm to 25mm across multiple applications. Available in four colours – red, white and grey are supplied with locknuts and black without. All cable glands have a nitrile rubber seal and can be used in temperature ranges of -20˚C to 90˚C. The range is produced and tested in accordance with EN 50262:1999 and is ROHS compliant. Also available are nickel-plated brass, metric and PG threaded, cable gland combinations to both FPA and FPAX nylon fitting ranges in straight, 90˚ and 45˚ elbows.
