With intuitive buttons on the left side for  shutter control of opening, closing, and stop, and customisable wireless switches on the right side, it’s perfect for expanding your automation scenarios. With advanced features, this switch brings convenience and intelligence to motorised shading solutions. Aqara Shutter Switch H2 EU Features: Thread/Zigbee Support: The device features dual protocol support. In Thread mode, no Aqara hub is required to connect to third-party Matter ecosystems①, while Zigbee mode② unlocks exclusive Aqara features and ensures backward compatibility with the classic Aqara Zigbee hubs without compromising Matter support. The flexible protocol switching lets users enjoy Matter integration or Aqara’s advanced functionalities based on their preference. Shutter Position, One Tap Away: Control your roller shutter from anywhere, anytime with accurate control through percentage (1%-100%) via app, button, voice, schedule, etc. Users can finely tune the shutter position to suit their lighting needs, protect furniture from sunlight, ensure privacy, or create the perfect ambiance from fully closed to completely open. Calibration③ as Desired: Achieve precise shutter control with calibration options tailored to your needs—Smart Calibration for effortless initial setup, Custom Calibration for personalised precision, and Route Recalibration for long-term accuracy. Whether you want a quick, hands-free setup or fine-tuned adjustments, these options ensure your shutters always move exactly as expected.  Exclusive Wireless Buttons④: Beyond basic open/close/pause control via the left button, the right button gives you precise control over how much light enters your space—helping you create the perfect ambiance for work, relaxation, or sleep. Users can trigger smart home scenes and automations, letting you personalise your environment routines with a single tap. Subtle Indicator Light: The low-profile LED indicator is designed to minimise light disturbance and only lights up during operation. The indicator light will not light up when there is no operation to avoid disturbing your sleep. 55 mm Frame Support: Aqara Light Switch H2 EU fits seamlessly into commonly used  55 mm switch modular systems (55 mm x 55 mm) and supports popular third-party frames, like Gira System 55 and Merten M. Its standardised design ensures compatibility across EU markets, minimising the need for custom fittings and simplifying the installation. ① To use the device with a particular Matter ecosystem, a Thread-enabled Matter Controller of this ecosystem is required. ② Aqara Zigbee hub required. Zigbee2MQTT and comparable third-party USB dongles are not Aqara-supported. Full product functionality may be limited or unavailable. ③ Custom and recalibration require using Zigbee mode and connecting to an Aqara hub. Smart calibration needs to be triggered via button action for non-Aqara users. ④ This feature may not work in some third-party Matter ecosystems but is supported by the device. For full functionality, use Zigbee mode and connect to an Aqara hub. ⑤ Exact fit may vary for non-Aqara multi-gang frames.
